Training & Instruction Policies

Paladin Lead Delivery Systems has the following policies regarding attendance/participation in any of our training or instruction events.

  • SAFETY: Safety is paramount in all of our courses, and even more so during live fire sessions. Therefore, any safety violations, especially negligent discharge, sweeping students or instructors with muzzle, etc. will result in immediate dismissal from the course with no refunds.
  • COURSE DEPOSITS: A deposit of 50% of the total fee is required to reserve and guarantee your spot in any of our classes. This deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied to future class dates in the event of a cancellation. Please visit our web store to place your deposit or contact our instructors.
  • CANCELLATIONS: If not otherwise specified, please provide at least 72 hours notice if you are going to be unable to attend on the scheduled date of your course. Email is the preferred method of contact.  We commit a variety of financial and other resources to secure your seat in training, and cancellations within 72 hours of class will result in forfeiture of your course fee.  Some courses will require other specific cancellation period, which will be listed in the course description.
  • LEGAL: If you have been convicted of a felony, are the subject of an active protective order in any state, or are otherwise barred from possessing firearms under Title 18 USC, you will not be able to take our courses. By signing up for our any courses you certify that you do not fall into any of these categories.
  • LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: For all courses other than the "Basic Firearms" (100 Level) courses, a valid license to carry a concealed weapon from any state will be required. You will be requested to provide proof of said license at the time of registration via an emailed (preferred) or mailed copy. Other proof of firearms training may be accepted, at the instructor's sole discretion, with prior arrangement.  All local laws and ordinances regarding firearms must be adhered to. Be knowledgeable about the laws! It's your responsibility, not ours.  Some things that will make you ineligible:
    • Felony conviction
    • Convicted of ANY domestic violence charge defined in Federal Code of Regulations 178.11
    • Dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces
    • Subject of a civil or criminal restraining (protection order) preventing you from possessing a firearm
  • PAYMENT:  We accept cash, check, MasterCard/Visa/Discover, and PayPal. Payment arrangements will be made at registration regarding deposits and full payments. Remainders of fees will be due on the day of the course (cash/check preferred, as network connectivity for credit card charges may be limited).
  • REGISTRATION: Please thoroughly complete our course registration.  Supply both your full legal name, as well as any abbreviation or nickname you prefer to be addressed with.  By doing so, you will be able to provide us with all of the information we need to produce your certificate at the end of the course.
  • REPLACEMENT CERTIFICATES:  We will provide replacement certificates, at our discretion, for a period of up to 6 months after course graduation date.  The fee for a replacement certificate is $10 for most courses, and $20 for all NRA courses.  The NRA only provides one certificate with each student packet, so the cost also covers replacement of the entire packet.  Replacement of NRA certificates may take up to 1 month, if we need to order a new packet.
  • WAIVER OF LIABILITY: Before any training, instruction, or live-fire events will be conducted, all students must complete a liability waiver which will be provided at the start of the course.
  • AGE RESTRICTIONS: Due to liability concerns, persons under the age of 18 cannot attend our courses or instruction without a parent or guardian (person over the age of 21) present in the class as well.  Certain courses may have specific age restrictions, which will be noted in the course description.
  • DISABILITIES AND SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: Please advise us of any and all disabilities or special considerations so we can provide you with the best service possible!
